We don’t know much about the COVID vaccines because they weren’t properly tested on humans, and follow-up studies on those who received them aren’t being funded because the results would show just how much harm has been done.
The world is full of monsters in high places — and they’ve made sure to keep the lid tightly shut.
So as a biologist, I feel it’s my duty to address some of these questions — even if I don’t have access to all the data. Based on what I do know from biology, I can at least offer some clarity.
One of those questions is 👇
❓ Can human cells "learn a new function" because of mRNA vaccines?
💡 Short answer: Yes.
🧬 What mRNA vaccines do mechanistically
mRNA is delivered into the cells cytoplasm.
➤ mRNA stands for messenger RNA — it’s like an instruction sheet for making a specific protein.
➤ The cytoplasm is the jelly-like fluid inside your cells where proteins are made.Ribosomes read that mRNA and translate it into a protein — e.g., the spike protein.
➤ Ribosomes are tiny machines inside cells that read the mRNA and "build" proteins based on its instructions.
➤ In this case, they built the spike protein from an altered SARS-COV-2 sequence (which is not a pathogen).
There was Never COVID PandemicThe protein is then either:
Displayed on the cell surface.
Remains in the bloodstream for a minimum of 17 months after vaccination.
⚡My thoughts on it: This shows that the immune system detects the spike protein but does nothing to eliminate it. Could it be due to the altered spike protein in vaccines?

⚙️ Do cells "learn a new function"?
💡 In the sense of making a new protein, yes.
This would alter the behavior of immune cells and enable the affected cells to "learn" a new function—producing the spike protein—outside of the intended injection site.
Cellular uptake beyond the injection site
Some studies (including the pig one) suggest that if mRNA enters the bloodstream, it might reach distant organs and be expressed in non-target tissues (e.g., liver, spleen, brain).
Those cells could temporarily express spike protein and trigger local inflammation.
Immunological reprogramming
mRNA vaccines can cause long-lasting changes in the way our immune cells behave.

What’s going on here?
LINE-1 (Long Interspersed Element-1) is a piece of DNA in our cells that can make an enzyme called reverse transcriptase. This enzyme can turn RNA back into DNA — kind of like rewinding the usual process. Usually, LINE-1 is quiet, but when cells are stressed, it can become active.
The COVID vaccines use a special kind of RNA (called mRNA) that tells cells to make the spike protein from the sequence. This spike protein is new to your body, so when your cells make it, it can cause some stress inside them.
The theory:
Because the vaccine mRNA makes cells stressed, it might “wake up” LINE-1 in those cells.
If LINE-1 gets active, it might use its reverse transcriptase enzyme to convert the vaccine mRNA into DNA inside the cell.
This DNA might stick around longer than the original mRNA, and in theory, it might even get inserted into the cell’s own DNA.
If that happens, the cell might keep making spike protein for a longer time, or the cell might change in other ways — but we don’t really know if this happens in real life, or how often.

COVID-19 mRNA vaccine BNT162b2 is able to enter the human liver cell line Huh7 in vitro. BNT162b2 mRNA is reverse transcribed intracellularly into DNA as fast as 6 h after BNT162b2 exposure. A possible mechanism for reverse transcription is through endogenous reverse transcriptase LINE-1, and the nucleus protein distribution of LINE-1 is elevated by BNT162b2. https://www.mdpi.com/1467-3045/44/3/73/htm
This suggests that COVID vaccines may be able to integrate into people's DNA even in the absence of stress.
What we don’t know:
How frequently does reverse transcription occur in humans following vaccination?
Is this additional DNA inserted into the cell's genome, or is it merely floating about temporarily?
If it is inserted, what impact does it have on the cell or the body?
How long do stress and LINE-1 activation last in the cells?
Can this happen to patients who get blood from vaccinated people?
Additional Considerations
Cell Type Specificity: LINE-1 activity is higher in certain cell types (e.g., stem cells, cancer cells) and lower in differentiated somatic cells.
Which cells are most likely to undergo this process?Immunological Context: Cells expressing spike protein are targeted by the immune system, potentially limiting persistence.
Natural vs Vaccine mRNA: How does the synthetic, nucleoside-modified mRNA compare to natural mRNA in terms of susceptibility to reverse transcription?
If the spike protein continues to be produced for a longer period of time than expected (as some preliminary studies imply), and this production causes harm, the following question arises:
How do we safely stop this production?
