Bovaer, Cows and Humans
One of the most talked-about topics in recent days has been the additive Bovaer, which is supposed to lower cow methane emissions. Despite the media's and governments' corporate-sponsored claims that it is safe for both humans and cows, there are serious concerns that must be addressed.
As a biologist, I provide a viewpoint that is unaffected by corporate influence. I've done my own research, and I think the truth needs to be heard.
🐮 First, cows have been producing methane for centuries, so the claim that it has recently become a major issue is misleading.
Additionally, it's crucial to remember that other natural methane producers exist besides cows. 👇
Most methane-producing bacteria, known as methanogens, primarily live in anaerobic environments—places where oxygen is absent. These environments include:
Wetlands: Swamps, marshes, and bogs are major natural sources of methane, where methanogens thrive in the waterlogged, oxygen-deprived soil.
Digestive Systems: Methanogens are abundant in the digestive tracts of ruminant animals (like cows, sheep, and goats), where they help break down food and produce methane as a byproduct. They also exist in the guts of other animals and humans, though in smaller amounts.
Landfills: Decomposing organic waste in landfills creates an anaerobic environment, providing a perfect habitat for methanogens.
Marine Sediments: Methanogens are found in the deep ocean floor where oxygen is absent, and organic matter decomposes under pressure and low oxygen conditions.
Hot Springs and Hydrothermal Vents: In some extreme environments, such as volcanic areas and deep-sea vents, methanogens survive at high temperatures and pressures.
These bacteria play a key role in the carbon cycle by producing methane, which can then be released into the atmosphere or used by other organisms in ecosystems.
There are also artificial sources of methane, so singling out cows as the primary culprit is absurd.
🐮 Second, modifying the microbiome of cows can have serious consequences. Bovaer disrupts their gut bacteria, causing dysbiosis, which can be harmful to their health.
The claim that Bovaer has no negative impact on cows is simply unscientific!
Changes in biology always have detrimental consequences.
🐮 Furthermore, it's unknown if Bovaer is safe for us. Even though cows might not absorb it, it is still unclear how much Bovaer ends up in milk and meat. It can also accumulate in the cows bodes after long term use. This uncertainty raises legitimate concerns about the possible impact on human health.
Given these facts, we must seriously reconsider any artificial interventions in cattle feeding practices.
We deserve access to natural, healthy foods, not products that may jeopardize our health.
It's time to put a stop to the push for mandatory food additives. Governments are supposed to serve citizens, not corporations. So we, as citizens, should be the ones making the rules, not the other way around!

There's one more thing: Bill Gates is funding Bovaer’s development and Blackrock is the biggest investor in DSM-Firmenich, the Netherlands-based company that owns Bovaer. Blackrock has made investments in the transition to pseudo-green energy.
