Thanks for this. Nature has the answer, always. Glad you have the hawthorn and mention rosehip etc. people tend to think Nature's remedies are concentrated in 'exotic regions' or mystical areas but they are varied and everywhere, each with its own specific 'versions'.
Thanks so much for the nice comment. It is absolute true that almost all stuff which grows in the yard can be medicine. Dandelions are an example. They are considered as weed while in fact all their parts are food and medicine. I am working on a new series about natural affordable remedies which will hopefully help people.
Excellent! Yes, a plentiful 'weed' present in almost every garden, hedgerow and field in the UK. When you do, please include preparation instructions: dandelion leaves, flowers and roots all can be great but all involve very distinct preparation.
I will. Dandelion is in the list. You can actually eat the florets, leaves and roots raw but that maybe isn't the best option for all people :-). You can also make wine. I like simple salad from florets and leaves with salt, bit of vinegar and olive or sunflower oil.
