Early Sunday morning. Outside it's foggy. Thinking about the world we live in. Have you noticed that even fashion is becoming bland and boring? There are no colors like in the 70s.
On Friday, I was practically the only person on the street and in public transportation wearing a bright apple-green T-shirt and blue jeans. People were staring at me as if I arrived from another dimension. Perhaps some were smiling, but I couldn't tell because many of them wore masks even outside, tucked into dull-colored jackets. It was a gorgeous spring day. The weather is usually awful here. People should be joyful, but they're not. It could be related to gene product in their bodies, but it could also be due to their brains' inability to absorb pleasant events such as spring after being frightened of invisible dangers for so long. Despite being sensitive to the sun, I wore short sleeves because it was an opportunity to expose my skin to some sunlight. I need the energy of the sun and the colors it brings. Everybody does.
Colors have an impact on our emotions. Bright colors make us cheerful because they remind us of spring and life awakening after a long winter. We should surround ourselves in such colors.
So put on some bright clothes and go for a walk. Perhaps you will be the source of happiness for someone else, and you will be happy too.
Have a bright Sunday!
I am sure that my daughter's brightly colored painting made you happy.
