Our World's Self-Destructive Culture of Dead Brains

When wealth and power go to the greedy and stupid, and brilliant minds go unrewarded and unappreciated, society is doomed.
Such a society and its downfall are actually described in a 1957 book. It is written by Ayn Rand and is titled Atlas Shrugged. Read it. I'm sure that the following quotes from the book will grab your attention.
When you have made evil the means of survival, do not expect men to remain good. Do not expect them to stay moral and lose their lives for the purpose of becoming the fodder of the immoral. Do not expect them to produce, when production is punished and looting rewarded. Do not ask, "Who is destroying the world?
