Introducing the New Natural Remedy Series
“Nature itself is the best physician.” ~ Hippocrates.
I grew up near the Balkan mountains and frequently visited my mother's village in another mountain area. Almost every weekend, my mother would take us to the mountains to scoop blackberries, wild strawberries, hawthorn berries, and herbs. The berries would be canned if not eaten on the way back, and the herbs would be dried. When someone got sick, my mother would first check our natural pharmacy. As a person raised in a mountain village, she embraces nature and passed that knowledge on to me. It shielded me from potentially harmful medical interventions.
I'll never forget when I was a university student and, as a result of the stress of exams and a hectic schedule, I developed gastroesophageal reflux disease. My mother advised me to try St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum). It is well-known for treating neurosis, but in Bulgarian traditional medicine, it is used to treat gastrointestinal problems. I made a tea from the herb and drank a glass of it three times a day before eating. Pain vanished after a few days and never returned. It prompted me to think about how effective natural medicine is and that should learn more about it. During my travels around the world, I discovered many more herbs, herbal combinations and other natural treatments that helped me avoid meeting the drug dealers disguised as doctors.
I've always wanted to put this knowledge together to help others, so here it is in the form of my substack Natural Remedy Series.
This article taught you that St John's Wort is good not only to your mood but also to your gut; I'm sure you can't wait for the rest, but in the meantime, check out my other articles on the subject.

If someone says to you, but it's not backed up by peer-reviewed scientific research or clinical trials. I would advise you to respond that natural medicine has been practiced since the dawn of our civilization, and the majority of these remedies have been tested for hundreds of years. Now, 70% of humans are being forced to take untested products that may even change their genes. Many other so-called medicines are actually poison, rather than assisting in the treatment of medical problems.
Here is some read on it….
What Is Science?
You are not supposed to be hard headed in science. You are supposed to be ready for the things you really believe to turn out not be true! And you are supposed to enjoy that! ~ Dr Kary Mullis
And if a paper is peer-reviewed it means everybody thought the same therefore they approved it. An unintended consequence is when new knowledge emerges, new scientific insights… they can never ever be peer-reviewed. So we are blocking all new advances in science, that are big advances. If you look at the breakthrough in science almost always they don’t come from the centre of that profession. They come from the fringe. The finest candlemakers in the world couldn’t even think of electric lights. They don’t come from within, they often come from outside the bricks. We are going to kill ourselves because of stupidity. ~ Allan Savoury
