Perimenopause is a natural part of every woman's life and is characterised by hot flashes, insomnia, memory loss, mood swings, bone loss, irregular periods, excessive sweating, reduced fertility, and decreased libido. Many perimenopausal women today have stressful lives, demanding jobs and, in many cases, young children, which makes the symptoms unbearable. Modern medicine, of course, cannot pass up an opportunity to make a buck and offers products that supposedly make the transition to menopause easier but actually cause more health problems.
Nature, of course, has already provided us with perimenopause symptom relievers that are not only better but also safer. It's a blend of three common herbs: sage (Salvia officinalis), red cover (Trifolium pratense), and St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum).
Drinking a tea made from these herbs not only relieves perimenopausal symptoms but also delays menopause. I am almost 48 years old and tried it on myself after experiencing the first signs of perimenopause. All of the symptoms vanished and I'm much feeling great.
Sage and red clover help restore female hormonal balance. Both herbs contain phytohormones that benefit female reproductive health. Sage helps to relax the nervous system and improves memory. Red clover prevents bone loss associated with menopause and perimenopause, as well as hot flashes and excessive sweating.
St. John's wort is well-known for its antidepressant properties. The herb reduces hot flashes, relieves insomnia, and has a positive effect on mood swings.
*All three herbs also have many more benefits which will be discussed in future articles.
Tea blend recipe 📖
Add one teaspoon or approximately two teabags of each herb to 1 cup (200 ml) of hot water. Cover the cup with a plate. Wait about 10 minutes. Remove the herbs and drink the tea after it has cooled down. Try a cup of day in the morning. The tea blend should begin to work after a few days. Drink a few extra days after you notice an improvement. Drink the blend from time to time or when symptoms reappear.

If you've never tried these herbs before, make the first cup during the day when you're not alone so you can notice any allergic reactions and receive help.
Check for drug interactions with sage, red clover, and St John's wort if you take any medications.
If you want to try harvesting the herbs but don't have any experience, ask someone to teach you how to do it. The parts of the herbs that can be used are the leaves of sage, the flowers and leaves of St. John's wort, and the flowers and leaves of red clover.
Take the real herbs instead of supplements, which frequently contain fillers and are processed.
