Forget Valentine's Day, I've Got Something Better

St. Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14th, but we Bulgarians celebrate something much better, less disappointing, and wise: wine. Yes, the nation that nods for No instead of Yes, and shakes the head for Yes instead of No. The nation that did not surrender to the NWO and is still massively clean blooded does not celebrate Valentine's Day, which makes many people depressed because they are single, but rather wine, which makes everyone happy.

"In vino veritas" means that wine makes people wise if consumed in moderation.

So, while St Valentine's Day is sort of celebrated in Bulgaria, mostly by sellers trying to make people spend more money, we prefer to celebrate wine and winemaking. We even have a wine saint named Trifon. The story of winemaking celebration is a little complicated, as it is related to culture and religion, but it is based on the love of wine, which is one of the best in the world. We've been making it for about 5000 years.

Then our lands were ruled by the ancient Thracians, who are believed to have laid the foundations of winemaking and viticulture. Proof of this is the gold and silver Thracian treasures discovered in Bulgaria, most of which are beautiful sets for serving and consuming wine.”

Thanks to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and lipid-regulating properties, red wine reduces the risk of the modern heart diseases. Other advantages include protection against certain cancers, dementia, and depression. You know who needs to include it on the list of beverages.

So, instead of feeling pressed to show love that you don't feel or feeling depressed that you aren't loved, pour yourself a glass of wine. When people ask where the hearts are, you tell them that St Valentine's Day is out of date and that you're celebrating Wine Day because you're wise and happy!
