Cheap Common Cold Remedies You Need to Know
Nature, of course, has provided us with numerous inexpensive ways to relieve common cold symptoms.
There could be multiple reasons for the common cold, including the fact that your body needs rest. Of course, our unnatural way of life does not allow us to stay at home and relax for a week, so we must find a way to shorten the recovery period. The pharmaceutical industry has many "cures" for it, but most have side effects or simply do not work and are expensive. The common cold is a very profitable business.

Tea made from plants such as peppermint, bay leaf, and pine needles can help you feel better quickly. You could also add turmeric and black pepper (otherwise turmeric won't work), neem, spices from the mint family as savory, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and sage, St John's wort, ginger, cinnamon, lavender, and eucalyptus for the cough (by far the best cough remedy I've found). Also add to the tea a few walnuts with their shells.

Many spices have anti-inflammatory properties, so go through your pantry and make a tea. There is no need to spend extra money.

There are other ways to recover faster that do not involve drinking tea. Ideal for small children and pregnant women.
Place some of the herbs mentioned above in a bowl of hot water with table salt and a few drops of peppermint, lavender, or eucalyptus essential oil. If you are making tea, do not discard the herbs, but rather recuse them. This not only helps to moisten the air, but it also allows you to inhale many of the active ingredients. It is an excellent way to relieve cold symptoms in children who do not want or cannot drink tea. Simply keep the bowl out of their reach and put it somewhere they can't get to!
There are diffusers that do the same thing, but in this case, you can only use oils. I broke mine by putting salt in it.
Warming herbal ointments are an excellent way to relieve coughing pain and stop coughing. After use, thoroughly wash your hands, and make sure children do not touch the area. Diluting peppermint oil with coconut or olive oil has the same effect, but make sure you're not allergic.
Gargling with warm water containing salt or baking powder relieves sore throat pain. Simply mix a spoon into a cup of water.
A red-light lamp can help relieve headaches and sinus pain.
Some sounds, such as rain or cat purr, can also help to relieve cold symptoms and restore body balance.
